NutriBullet 1200W Blender Combo

Years ago, friends of mine introduced me to the NutriBullet single-serve blender. Later, it showed up as a best $100 purchase in Tim Ferriss's book "Tools of Titans". I've been using a NutriBullet for years, and it's definitely been my best $100 purchase. Recently, I moved up to the NutriBullet 1200W Blender Combo (also for about $100), and I'm even happier with this kitchen upgrade.

NutriBullet 1200W Blender Combo reviews

1200W Blender Pitcher and 2 Cups

This new NutriBullet blender combo has 1200 watts of power and comes with 2 cups plus a blender pitcher. I haven't used the pitcher yet, but I've been using the cups every day for about a month, and they've been great!

Improved Lids Click Tight & Stay Closed!

I've had other single-serving blenders, including other NutriBullets. But this one has cup lids that are much better. First, the latch actually clicks tight and stays closed. I take these to work for breakfast. So, they spend time in a bag with stuff like my SodaStream bottle of homemade seltzer water and my lunch. Unlike other, older cups, these stay closed! So, no shake mess to deal with when I get to work. Second, these cups have a loop that makes them really easy to pick up and carry when your hands are full.

My Breakfast Smoothie Recipe

I like I mention in the video on the NutriBullet, I make a breakfast smoothie about every day. It's almost always the same ingredients. Here's my breakfast smoothie recipe:

  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 avocado (I'm using frozen, pre-cut organic avocados.)
  • 2 Tbsp ginger root (I cut mine and store them in rice wine vinegar.)
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp probiotic yoghurt
  • 1/2 scoop of chocolate whey protein powder. (Mostly, because it's chocolate. Mmmmm. ?
  • 12-15 oz. water

Patty's Green Shake Recipe?

As I mentioned in my NutriBullet video, my neighbor Patty swears she's got an even better recipe for a green smoothie. She won't give me the recipe yet, but with your help, maybe we can convince her to put it up here on myHomeUpgrades.com. So, comment down below if you'd like to have her put up her recipe, and I'll make sure she sees all the comments.

Thanks!

My dear neighbor, I see that those smoothies are making you look even younger, but I bet if I share my green smoothie recipe would make you look even younger 😉

Makes me want to get one!

      Connie,

Thanks! It really is a great machine. I have noticed that the price goes up and down quite a bit. I actually bought mine at Costco (of course) on sale for $79.99 down from their normal $99.99. I’ve noticed that Costco puts their NutriBullet blenders on sale in January and, I think, in mid summer. This time, I also noticed that Amazon had almost the same machine for the same $79.99 in January. (The only difference was that the Costco version came with 4 stainless steel straws — that I don’t use! LOL.) So, Amazon’s price may go back down. If I notice it, I’ll try to post an update here to try to help people out.

      Thanks again for your support!

      Christopher
